Card System

There is the Card system , I'll just copy paste this~
QUOTE
The Card System is an exclusive feature on Ys Online linking pretty much all the functionalities into one easy system.

As your character progresses in the world of Ys Online, the Card system will become more and more important. Cards are indeed involved in, for example, crafting, combat, spells and quests.

The Card system can be divided into several sections.

Such as~
Spell Cards~, item enchants~,Art built cards, skill cards~and crafting recipe cards~

How to obtain cards?
You can obtain cards in Ys Online in 3 different ways:

* Buy them from a card vending NPC.
* Loot them from monsters.
* Trade them with other players.

Types of Cards~

* Art Build cards

These cards are your main base to perform powerful combos. An Art Build card is always divided into up to 3 trees, as you can see on the following example with the Novice Art Build card.

In this example, the 3 available trees to perform the combos are as follow:

TreeleftTreemiddleTreeright
Many Art Build cards are available throughout the game so you can adjust your possible combos to the situation. Every new buff will cost one Action Point.

Useful tip: you have to choose carefully when you decide to activate one tree from your Art Build card because you will then be limited to that tree until the buffs are gone.

* Spell cards

Cards such as "Fox Fire" can be used to cast spells, without using your mana.

* Town Return cards

The easiest way to teleport yourself back to safety.

* Resurrection cards

You will find these cards very helpful in case you run into some serious troubles.

* Enchantment cards

You will need them to enhance the performance of your equipment.

* Crafting recipe cards

To craft useful items...

* Summoning cards

In case you are looking for a mount.

* Skill cards

They are needed to learn some of your class skills.

Instant Dungeons

Instant dungeons are for parties only, designed with a specific objective such as survival, escape, guard, assassination or rescue.

The key to successfully complete an instant dungeon is to figure out the most effective tactics and strategies for each dungeon.

The following rules apply to instant dungeons:

* In order to enter an instant dungeon the party leader will need a key.

* The penalties upon dying are the same.

* If no one enters the instant dungeon within the first minute after its creation with the key, the instance will close itself again and another key will be needed to open it again.

* If you log out or quit the game during an instant dungeon, your character will be right outside the entrance next time you log in.

* Monsters in instant dungeons are stronger than usual, be well prepared.

* There is no map in an instant dungeon.
(oooh! i bet these are sooo fun~)

Downsides of the game:
-The character creation is very limited~
-This game, apparently, is only avaible for european players...However there seems to be many US players around..dunno how the IP block works here...

I might give it a try but whenever I think about how little free time I have and how much I want to lvl faster in PW it's probably unlikely, I would feel guilty for not lvling there.
